Cleaning Waiver Release Form

I acknowledge that certain products sometimes have inherent defects that may not be apparent before machine and or hand cleaning. In addition to the effects of normal wear, there are other conditions I should be aware of. Some materials may have weak or thin areas that can chafe during machine and/or hand cleaning. Prior exposure to heat, moisture, salts can make materials tender, stiff or brittle after machine and/or hand cleaning. Fading, discoloration or stains may not be totally corrected by refinishing. Some stains may not be removable. Material that may have been overstretched during manufacturing may shrink during cleaning. Manufacturing problems such as glued seams may eventually become evident after cleaning. Heavily soiled garments, especially those exposed to the elements, may not clean satisfactorily.

The color or tonality of the item(s) may change during the cleaning process and an exact match of the original color may not be possible. Color may bleed or appear uneven after cleaning. Multi-piece items should all be cleaned at the same time.

You may experience a textural change in your item(s). Some material may stiffen and have a different “hand feel” after cleaning. This is normal and the material may soften with wear.
